As a Plasterer at Danlaid CFS, you will be responsible for carrying out plastering and finishing works across commercial and infrastructure projects, ensuring all surfaces are prepared and completed to a high standard. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within project deadlines. Responsibilities and Tasks: Applying plaster, and finishing compounds to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces across commercial and civil construction projects. Preparing surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying bonding agents where required. Installing plasterboard, cornices, partitions, and suspended ceiling systems in accordance with project specifications. Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard panels and decorative mouldings accurately. Mixing and applying plaster materials to achieve smooth and level finishes. Repairing damaged plasterwork, cracks, and surface imperfections to maintain quality standards. Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to complete plastering works accurately. Coordinating with site supervisors, tradespeople, and project teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. Ensuring all plastering works comply with Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and company quality requirements. Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised condition. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Plasterer Strong knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and finishing methods. Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Excellent attention to detail and workmanship quality. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
