This is a well-rounded Financial Accountant opportunity within a purpose-driven organisation operating across multiple service lines. The role offers genuine exposure to both core financial reporting and commercial partnering, working closely with operational leaders across the business. You’ll join a collaborative finance team in a role that blends technical accounting with stakeholder engagement and process improvement. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting business decision-making across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and cost allocations Balance sheet reconciliations and review of P&L accuracy Preparation of monthly reporting packs with analysis and commentary Partnering with operational leaders to review performance and provide financial insights Fixed asset accounting and lease reconciliations Supporting statutory requirements including BAS, FBT and year-end reporting Assisting with audit processes and liaising with external auditors Contributing to budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives Providing guidance and support to junior finance staff About You You’re a proactive and commercially aware accountant who enjoys working closely with the business, not just sitting behind the numbers.
