Responsibilities About the Role The Service Crew are responsible for safely carrying out general service crew work including installation of mine services and conducting face preparation activities. Install, maintain, and remove ventilation systems including ducting, fans, and ventilation controls Install and maintain site services such as water, air, pump, and electrical reticulation systems Install, remove, and maintain pumps and pumping stations Operate equipment including the Integrated Tool (IT) carrier and assist with transport of fuel and materials Support underground operations including charge-up activities and installation of ground support (e.g. cable bolts) Follow all site safety procedures and actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, and shift meetings Qualifications What You’ll Bring Experience in mining or a similar hands-on industry (underground experience advantageous but not essential) Current manual driver’s licence with the ability to travel to site Sound communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a crew Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures Physically fit and comfortable working in a demanding, team-based environment Holds or is willing to obtain relevant certifications (e.g. First Aid, Working at Heights, police clearance).
