Discover Your Next Role As a Fugal Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be working as part of our sugar production team, where you'll transform raw ingredients into raw sugar. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends, overtime and day work during the maintenance period (Jan - May). Your Role in Action Sweet Systems: Produce Raw Sugar and C seed/magma that consistently satisfies quality and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations and product loss. Collaboration Crew: Work in conjunction and communicate effectively with the Mill management, Pan Boilers and Shift Team. Data Detective: Sample, inspect and perform basic analysis on sugar and molasses streams. Housekeeping Hero: Maintain excellent housekeeping practices around fugal station to ensure a safe work environment. Efficiency Enforcer: Perform regular inspection of plant, equipment and complete maintenance request as required. Accuracy in Action: Complete logbooks, charts and any other data collection required by management. Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and have basic maintenance skills. Whilst the following are requirements in this role, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit: Working at Heights Confined Space Entry Maintenance skills which are also highly desirable include: Trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences.
