Discover Your Next Role Are you ready for a hands-on role in a great team environment? As an Evaporator Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll be responsible for operating the Juice Circuit. This role works closely with other members of the shift team and Mill management. This permanent position is based at Proserpine Mill in North Queensland's Mackay/Whitsunday region. Picture yourself working in the heart of the Whitsunday region - it's like being in paradise! With its pristine beaches and lively community, you'll find the perfect balance between work and relaxation. During the crushing (June - December), this position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster, which may include weekends and occasional overtime. Once the crushing is complete and the Mill enters the maintenance period (Jan - May), the role switches to a day shift schedule with RDOs most Fridays. Your Role in Action Smooth Operator: Monitor the Juice Circuit (including but not limited to Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators and associated equipment) to ensure crushing of the cane is efficient and productive. Collaboration Crew: Work closely with the shift team to keep operations running smoothly and safely. Clear & Concise: Provide regular and accurate feedback to Mill management on station performance and quality issues. Safety Guardian: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety every day.
