You will take responsibility for maternal, child, and adult care, provide emergency support, and oversee service delivery. The position requires a nurse who can work independently at times while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Deliver maternal, child, and adult health services including antenatal, postnatal, breastfeeding, immunisation, and wellbeing care Provide emergency clinical care as required Lead and coordinate health programs, including education and preventative care Oversee clinical reporting, care plans, and follow-ups, including liaising with visiting specialists Mentor and support other nursing staff and local health practitioners Ensure culturally appropriate care and a respectful, professional approach Participate in care planning, health checks, and chronic disease management Maintain accurate records and meet all reporting requirements Benefits & Perks Competitive salary: $140k superannuation Car allowance and access to a work vehicle Fully self-contained accommodation provided Airport transfers and travel costs reimbursed FIFO from regional base, 7-hour shifts (weekends on call as required) Full scope of maternal, child, and adult health care responsibilities Opportunity to work in a supportive and professional team Professional development and education opportunities Requirements Registered Nurse or Midwife with unrestricted registration (NMBA/AHPRA) Advanced Life Support and Paediatric Life Support certificates Experience in maternal, child, and adult health care, including emergency response Strong cross-cultural communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting Experience coordinating care with visiting specialists Computer literacy and ability to maintain clinical and administrative records Desirable Experience working in remote or Indigenous community health Experience delivering maternal and child health education programs Experience with pharmacotherapeutics and immunization Apply Now This permanent opportunity is providing critical maternal and child health care, education, and support in a remote community.
