About the role: DGA Windows is currently seeking an Aluminium Fabricator to join the team. Responsibilities include: reading and interpreting extrusion cutting lists, cutting aluminium components, assembling window & door frames, and performing quality checks on finished products. You may also be required to set up fabricating machines. (5am to 3pm: standard hours & overtime Mon -Friday) Responsibilities: Cutting various aluminium door and window frame sections. Ensuring precision in measuring and cutting. Assembly of windows & doors Working with the team to increase efficiencies & reduce lead time. Upholding the standards of safety and quality as per company expectations Ensuring a safe work practice in line with company policies and procedures Attend daily production and general meetings, providing inputs as needed Skills and experience required: 3 years of experience in a similar fabrication role Proficiency in utilising tools and equipment (ie: semi-automatic and manual saws) Forklift Licence Experience with a wide range of window and door systems Have excellent communication skills Have a sound understanding of the manufacturing and fabrication processes Ability to read and work off plans and job sheets from V6 Previous experience with Alspec extrusions – preferred(not essential).
