Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in the Logan / South Brisbane Region, Queensland for a Community Support Worker at FIRST Service Inc. The Community Support Worker will provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals, assist with daily activities, support emotional well-being, and advocate for our members health and social needs. Additional responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective communication with members, families, and colleagues, as well as contributing to in centre programs, community access and contribute to the ongoing reporting and performance for FIRST, Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity for building and maintaining positive relationships Proficiency in community support and experience in supporting clients with high physical needs & or challenging behaviour Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience in case management and providing individualised client services Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed Relevant qualifications or certifications in community services, disability or a related field Understanding of the NDIS sector and related policies is an advantage Applicant Must Have Current QLD driver’s license essential.
