Practice Manager — Grange General Practice Location: Grange SA 5022 Type: Full Time Salary: $70,000–$80,000 pa Start: Flexible Overview We are a busy and friendly general practice located in Grange seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead operations, support our team and enhance patient experience. This role is ideal for an organised, proactive professional with 3–6 years’ management experience in a clinical or healthcare-adjacent environment. You will manage day-to-day administrative functions, improve workflows, and help shape the future of a patient-centred local practice. Key Responsibilities Oversee front-of-house and back-office operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient services. Lead, mentor and develop administrative and reception staff, including rostering, training and performance reviews. Manage appointments, billing, invoicing and reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimise patient flow, reduce wait times and support continuity of care. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, privacy regulations and best-practice clinical administration standards. Implement process improvements and digital solutions to drive greater efficiency and patient engagement. Act as a first point of contact for patient concerns and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Prepare regular operational reports, budgets and forecasts for practice owners and stakeholders. Who We’re Looking For Proven practice or clinic management experience, preferably 3–6 years in primary care or related settings. Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem solving. Comfortable with financial tasks including basic bookkeeping, payroll oversight and budget management. Competent with practice management software, Microsoft Office and an eagerness to embrace digital tools. Knowledge of Australian healthcare administration and privacy frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory. Customer-focused, empathetic and professional manner with the ability to build rapport across teams and with patients.
