About the Role Working in consultation with the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor will provide hands-on, pragmatic people advisory support to leaders and employees across the business. This is a consultative, delivery focused role. Responsibilities Manager Advisory & Employee Relations Act as the first escalation point from HR Operations within the region for day to day people queries requiring interpretation, judgement, or case management across the employee lifecycle. In consultation with the HR Business Partner, provide end to end support on employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and grievance cases. Support managers with performance management matters, including underperformance and improvement plans Employee Lifecycle Support Support onboarding, probation reviews, role changes, and internal movements Partner with managers on effective offboarding practices Conduct and analyse exit interviews, identifying insights and themes for the region Policy, Compliance & Governance Provide clear, practical interpretation of HR policies and Australian employment legislation to the business. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes across the region Collaboration & Enablement Work closely with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and the wider HR team on a range of people initiatives, including manager support, employee engagement activities and region‑specific requirements. Experience and Qualifications HR Advisor: 2-4 years of experience Senior HR Advisor 4-7 years of experience Experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role operating in a business facing capacity. Proven ability to manage day-to-day ER and performance matters end-to-end, including underperformance and improvement plans, with appropriate escalation. Confident in advising and coaching leaders through difficult conversations and practical people decisions. Comfortable working autonomously on operational matters while partnering closely with an HRBP on complex or higher risk issues.
