Description We currently have an opportunity for a Quality & Compliance Manager. Join our Government and Infrastructure Management team to support the governance, assurance, and continual improvement of quality, GMP, EHS and compliance systems within a pharmaceutical / highly regulated operating environment. Reporting to the Senior Facility Manager, you’ll work alongside a diverse group of professionals to create safe, compliant and high ‑ quality outcomes that support critical operations. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for the contract, ensuring alignment to client GMP requirements, regulatory expectations and Downer standards. Ensure all IFM activities comply with GMP, EHS, Zero Harm, statutory and contractual obligations. Plan, coordinate and support internal audits, client audits, regulatory inspections and supplier audits. Manage deviations, non-conformances and quality events impacting IFM services. Ensure role based GMP, EHS and compliance training for all Downer staff and subcontractors is current, effective and documented. What You’ll Bring Extensive experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP, life sciences or comparably regulated environment. Demonstrated experience in quality systems, compliance auditing, deviation management and CAPA. Experience working with large onsite operational teams and subcontractors. Strong understanding of GMP, EHS and regulatory (TGA, OGTR) expectations in facilities or technical services. Ability to build effective relationships with Client Quality, Operations and Engineering stakeholders.
