Permanent and temporary part-time Registered Nurse opportunities (48–72 hours per fortnight) are available in Ward 2I – Surgery & Critical Care Services at Logan Hospital, where you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to Orthopaedic and Acute Surgical patients within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. About This Role Your new role: Role As a Registered Nurse in Ward 2I, you will provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based care while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes in a busy surgical environment. In this role you will: Deliver person-centred nursing care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation Provide care to Orthopaedic and Acute Surgical patients, including elective and emergency admissions Collaborate with nursing, medical and allied health teams to coordinate effective patient care Utilise critical thinking and clinical judgement to prioritise and respond to changing patient needs Participate in quality improvement activities and support safe, evidence-based practice Contribute to a positive team culture within a team nursing model Support and mentor junior staff, students and colleagues where appropriate About You You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
