You will oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met. Key accountabilities: As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Identification and assessment of risk to the project as well as implementation of strategies to mitigate risk Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities Cost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning Lead, develop and manage large project teams on the ground Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Demonstrated experience leading a team on a major rail or infrastructure project Experience managing and develop long-term programs as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineers Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representatives ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
