Maintenance Fitter – Night Shift Tullamarine VIC | FMCG / Food Manufacturing An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading Australian food manufacturing business based in Tullamarine. Operating within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this role offers long-term stability, strong earning potential and the opportunity to work within a highly regarded maintenance team. This position is ideally suited to a fitter with strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience within food manufacturing or automated production environments. Shift Details • Permanent Night Shift • Sunday, Monday & Tuesday • 7:00pm – 7:00am (12-hour shifts) • Regular overtime opportunities available What’s on Offer • Competitive salary package • Stable long-term role with a respected manufacturing business • Consistent overtime opportunities • Supportive and safety-focused team culture • Work within a modern FMCG manufacturing environment • Access to employee wellbeing support programs Key Responsibilities • Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns across production equipment • Perform preventative maintenance in line with maintenance schedules • Maintain and repair plant equipment, conveyors, processing machinery and services • Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and minimise downtime • Support GMP, HACCP and site hygiene standards • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with site safety procedures and regulations • Assist with spare parts management and maintenance reporting About You • Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or similar mechanical trade • Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, baking or milling environments • Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery • Welding capability (MIG, TIG or ARC) highly regarded • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles advantageous • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills • Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets advantageous • Able to work autonomously within a night shift environment If you are looking for a secure night shift opportunity within a well-established food manufacturing environment, apply now for a confidential discussion.
