About the Role Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our support desk by providing technical assistance to employees, administration and setup of new users and user hardware, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely resolutions. Responsibilities of the role include Administer and provide technical support (Level 1) and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues Act as the primary point of contact for employees requiring technical support via phone or Email Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles Ensure that submitted tickets are resolved within a timely manner and escalate as required Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions Skills and Experience Formal qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Proven experience in IT support or similar role Technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network infrastructure Technical Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, O365 and Windows operating systems Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Experience with Palo Alto PAN-OS, Meraki, and Microsoft Intune favourable.
