APS6 Training and Development Coordinator About the role We are seeking motivated professionals to join our Commonwealth Government client as a Training and Development Coordinator at the APS6 level. The successful candidate will support the planning and execution of a training strategy for the organisation, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose training materials that will enhance organisational capabilities and drive adoption. An initial labour hire contract is on offer until 30 June 2026, with prospects of extension up to an additional 12 months. This role is available to candidates located in Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane, with flexible working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note: only Australian citizens with an existing Baseline security clearance will be considered for this position. Duties: Innovate and lead creative training strategies to support digital transformation in a complex program environment. Collaborate with the Change Team to understand business requirements and assist in delivering change and training activities. Craft engaging and fit for purpose training materials. Foster strong and meaningful relationships across the organisation to ensure training activities are well understood and effectively adopted. Provide consistent reporting on training delivery, uptake, and success, validating outcomes with end users and their leaders. Requisite skills/experience: Proven ability to contribute to the full training cycle; assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate. Understanding of Agile project delivery and change management frameworks, with experience in supporting training outcomes for large-scale programs. Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs and initiatives. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team whilst contributing positively to the achievement of broader objectives. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate, and represent effectively.
