Description Create your best future and join Westpac as a Team Assistant. What’s the role? This is a full time Parental Leave Cover contract role until 12 February 2027, based in Sydney. You’ll work Monday to Friday in a hybrid setup, typically around two days per week in the office, with the team balancing days to ensure office coverage. As a Team Assistant in the Risk Function, you’ll support parts of the Risk Division, with primary responsibility for the Deputy Chief Risk Officer team. You’ll be part of a centralised team that supports the business broadly, not just one senior leader. This role is ideal if you enjoy being the person who knows how things work. PeopleHQ and recruitment support is a key part of the role. You’ll act as a delegate in PHQ for senior leaders and help other leaders and teams self-serve by coaching them through systems and processes. You’ll also help deliver team events and Risk wide all ins, coordinate rooms and catering, assist with PowerPoint packs, maintain distribution lists and provide practical support that helps teams get things done. What do I need? Strong experience using PeopleHQ and supporting recruitment processes Ability to coach and guide others through systems and ways of working Experience coordinating events, meetings and logistics A solid administrative skill set including PowerPoint and stakeholder support Confidence working with senior stakeholders across multiple teams Why join us?
