About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), permanent Finance Partner – Schools to join the Finance and Infrastructure team at Catholic Education South Australia (CESA). Based primarily in our head office, this dynamic, school-facing role, you’ll work closely with school leaders and administration teams—providing practical advice, support and guidance across financial and management accounting. Your Responsibilities: Provide advice to schools in developing, implementing and maintaining administrative and financial processes, internal controls, and procedures Implement established review processes to support audit preparation and end of year financial statements Support operational training and induction for school staff on financial systems and processes Providing relief services to schools during periods of leave or to meet other short-term demands Provide guidance on the development of annual budgets and 9-year financial plans About You: You’ll be a great fit within the School Finance Officer role if you have a customer centric approach, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You’ll need: Qualifications in accountancy Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally Experience in management accounting or school finance roles would be advantageous Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities smoothly and thoroughly Ability to deliver solutions with a flexible and adaptive approach to tasks The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RHAN.
