About the Role Due to the current member of the team taking on a promotional role within the team we are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team! This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) permanent position reporting to the Head of Human Resources & Workforce Planning (HR & WP), the Human Resources Administrator provides high-level, timely and professional HR administrative and operational support to the HR & WP team and to schools across South Australia. The role works collaboratively within the broader PLC team to deliver consistent, high-quality, service-oriented outcomes. Success in this role is characterised by strong attention to detail, discretion, responsiveness and the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to the continuous improvement of Catholic Education South Australia’s people practices. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head HR & WP and broader HRWP team, including diary management, correspondence, document control, travel arrangements, and preparation of agendas, reports, briefing papers and meeting materials. Support HR/IR activities by gathering information, liaising with stakeholders (including Principals), maintaining accurate records (including critical incidents), managing intake enquiries and complaints, and assisting with confidential matters, investigations and reporting. Deliver HR administrative services including processing contract variations in Dayforce, monitoring and managing WWCC compliance, supporting HR projects, and collaborating with HRIS and Payroll to produce HR reports, metrics and workforce data. Coordinate and support meetings, events and functions for the PLC Section, including logistics, registrations, materials and stakeholder engagement. Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of administrative systems, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Provide broader administrative and financial support, including invoice processing, reimbursements, reception coverage, and working collaboratively across the PLC team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. About You You will bring: Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within a Human Resources or People and Culture environment, supporting a range of HR processes across the employee lifecycle (including recruitment coordination, onboarding, contract generation, variations and offboarding). Strong administrative capability, including experience managing high-volume tasks, coordinating workflows, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring documentation is prepared, processed and filed in a timely and organised manner. Proven experience preparing and issuing employment documentation (e.g. contracts, letters, variations), managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate employee data within HR information systems (e.g. Dayforce, SAP, Workday or similar). Experience supporting meetings, projects and HR activities, including preparing agendas, collating reports, coordinating logistics, maintaining registers, and tracking actions and outcomes. Demonstrated ability to respond to employee and manager queries in a timely, professional and customer-focused manner, providing accurate information and administrative support. Experience supporting compliance activities, including record keeping, clearances (e.g. WWCC), audit support, and ensuring processes align with established policies, procedures and service delivery timeframes. Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion, including maintaining secure records and managing sensitive correspondence. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including preparing reports, spreadsheets and documents, and the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilise new systems and technologies.
