As the CDS Team Leader, you will provide operational leadership to a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred supports across NDIS and community care programs. This is a hands-on leadership role, you will work closely with participants, families, support workers and key stakeholders to ensure safe, responsive and empowering services are delivered every day. About the opportunity As the CDS Team Leader, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational support to the team. You will represent Wellways values and practice through leading the team by example, always acting as a positive role model to ensure participants are supported to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in the community. n this role, you will: Lead, mentor and support CDS Support Workers Coordinate rosters Develop Service Agreements and Schedules of Support Support participant plan reviews and service delivery Recruit, onboard and supervise staff Work collaboratively with families, health professionals and the NDIA Assist with complex support needs and behavioural support practices You will also need: Minimum of Certificate III in Community Services or related and/or relevant experience such as Senior Support Worker Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificate A current valid Driver's License and an insured and registered vehicle Satisfactory Police Records Check Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current or must obtain prior to employment) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online certificate Working with a diverse range of people, Wellways creates an inclusive community where everyone can imagine and achieve their hopes and potential.
