About the Role We’re seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in Wahroonga. In this role, you’ll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives. Key responsibilities include: Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing) Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records Work collaboratively within a close-knit team Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines Who We’re Looking For Willing to work sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays Experience with supporting clients with challenging behaviours Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient Experienced in disability support (preferred) Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable) Why Join Us?
