The Opportunity As our full time, permanent Learning Lead , you’ll support our purpose-led and authentic firm as we right wrong. Based in our Brisbane CBD head office on a hybrid working pattern, and reporting to the Head of People & Performance, you’ll lead the development and delivery of operational and strategic learning solutions, to drive the success of our people. This is a national role, supported by a Learning Coordinator, encompassing business partnering, learning design and meeting bespoke business needs. You’ll design, develop, and maintain learning resources and solutions that are fit for purpose projects, as well as leadership capability uplift programs and annual compliance training. Your well-developed communication skills, and personable, friendly nature will ensure that our people feel supported in their learning journey, whilst establishing key skills for their success at Shine. And you’ll influence across all areas of Shine, as the primary point of contact and strategic learning partner to managers across our business, managing stakeholder requirements and outcome delivery. Experience in the legal field isn’t required – we know you’ll be able to pick up new knowledge and concepts quickly. Here’s how you’ll help us stay ahead of the pack: Improve the capability of our people, through identifying and understanding development needs. Design and develop on time learning resources, incorporating adult learning principles whilst ensuring the content is engaging and fit for purpose. Partner with business leaders to help identify and agree on learning needs and priorities, aligned to our strategy and business requirements. Apply current instructional design theories, practice and methods to lead the delivery of engaging, interactive and meaningful training and assessment content. Evaluate and maintain existing content and resources. Ability to use and extract information from LMS to identify trends, inform stakeholders and business. Evaluate program effectiveness. What you’ll bring. To thrive in this role, you’ll have: Proven experience in a similar adult learning role, ideally in a professional services environment The ability to understand and interpret complex information, and convey it to audiences of all levels in a simple and easy to understand manner Excellent stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated success in liaising with technical experts to support the design and delivery of learning initiatives The ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of technical systems, processes and legislation, and a knack for learning new technologies. Strong skills using a variety of technologies, including LMS tools, Articulate (Storyline and Rise), as well as agentic AI tools such as Copilot Experience in designing blended learning solutions Strong negotiation, project management, leadership, influencing and presentation skills Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and written communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop a holistic view of organisational performance problems, identify root causes and suggest learning and development-based solutions Shine Lawyers: A place for you.
