The opportunity With our Strategic Planning Team focussing on some high-priority projects, it’s opened up opportunity for a Graduate Strategic Planner to join their team to assist in supporting the assessment of planning proposals within the team. With support from the Planning Proposals Team Leader, you will provide practical, plain language advice to Council and the community as it relates to land use planning and sustainable development. This includes providing advice on social, economic and environmental considerations, strategic plans and policies, local environmental plans, development control plans, development contributions plans, planning proposals, heritage matters, demographic and other data. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain on-the-job experience in a local government setting to support their recent studies.
