Learn more at www.KINESSO.com The Role The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of ETL processes in and out of the data warehouse, data management and modelling, and Data as a Service product. Practical experience with Python and SQL is essential for the role, as is a working knowledge of cloud computing and data warehousing concepts. A substantial portion of the role includes interacting with APIs, data pipeline creation, troubleshooting, data discovery, data modelling. This role also requires the ability to think logically and critically to solve complex problems or build business rules using data, as well as the ability to work independently and proactively on projects from end-to-end. As part of a small, lean team, you will own and manage the entirety of the ETL process for a number of different pipelines, and need to manage and prioritise tasks accordingly. Key Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of data pipelines from AdTech platforms Data cleansing - troubleshooting, fixing errors and identifying discrepancies in data when onboarding new sources. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders Working with BI Engineers and Data Scientists to confirm data quality. Provide input to project planning, status, and review meetings. Requirements gathering Query data using SQL including the creation of logical schemas and tables. Provide input to project planning, status, and review meetings. Mentor and grow team members. About you 5 years' experience in data engineering or equivalent role. Strong Python skills with proven experience Proven experience in building data warehouses and ETL workflows Knowledge of cloud data warehousing Experience with Airflow & Snowflake Experience manipulating and extracting data using SQL.
