Description The opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Cost Controller to provide strategic financial leadership across multiple or complex water infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee cost management, forecasting, and risk mitigation across our project portfolio. This full-time, office-based role is part of a supportive and high-performing team, driving financial excellence for critical projects that connect communities to essential water networks. What you’ll do: Lead budget planning, forecasting, and cost governance across multiple projects. Provide insights to senior leadership on cost, schedule, and project risks. Mentor cost controllers and drive best practice across the project portfolio. Facilitate cross-project risk and opportunity reviews and ensure accurate reporting and analysis. What we’re looking for: Tertiary qualifications in finance or engineering with 10 years’ experience in cost control on capital construction projects. Strong knowledge of financial, accounting, and project cost control principles. Experience with InEight, JDE, or similar project control systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project performance analysis, including Earned Value Performance Management (EVPM). High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills. Commitment to Zero Harm, teamwork, and delivering results with a positive, proactive attitude.
