About the Role: As an OSHC Coordinator, you’ll lead your own service, providing trusted before and after school care and holiday programs that support local families. You’ll: Have the opportunity to lead and enhance embedded practice across services within the Newcastle region! Have the opportunity to step up into the area manager role and enhance your leadership skills! Create engaging programs with industry leading programming tools! Mentor a team of educators to develop their skills and grow within the industry. Coach and mentor your teams with a focus on improvement and the cascading of knowledge Rostering for services within the local area, with support from your Area Manager. Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks. Hours: 6.30am - 8.45am & 1:30pm - 6:00pm, plus weekly admin hours! Monday to Friday only — no weekend work! About You You have excellent communication skills and are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry is essential. You will have: Completed, working towards or willing to enrol in an ACECQA approved Diploma Level qualification.
