We’re seeking a skilled and adaptive Operations Specialist to provide hands-on operational support across our early education centres — helping stabilise performance, uplift quality, and embed sustainable, high-performing routines that deliver outstanding outcomes for children, families, and teams. This is a dynamic, centre-embedded role for a decisive operator who can quickly diagnose challenges, roll up their sleeves, and restore quality, compliance, and commercial confidence. The Role As an Operations Specialist , you’ll be deployed by the Director of Operations to support centres experiencing growth, quality, or compliance challenges. Working side-by-side with Centre Managers and educators, you’ll reset standards, coach teams, and embed routines that strengthen day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability. In this role, you will: Take a hands-on approach to stabilising centre performance, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Identify drivers of underperformance and implement targeted improvement plans. Coach and develop Centre Managers to build capability, confidence, and accountability. Reset and embed non-negotiable standards across quality, compliance, and presentation. Support enrolment growth by improving tour readiness, family experience, and community engagement. Partner with Regional and Operations leaders to deliver sustainable outcomes and prevent repeat intervention. About You You’re a calm, credible leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. With strong practical experience in operational turnaround, people leadership, and compliance, you’re passionate about helping others succeed while maintaining a child-first focus. You’ll bring: Proven experience stabilising or improving performance in early education, health, retail, or other regulated service environments. Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) , National Quality Standards (NQS) , and Education and Care Regulations . Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, coaching, and practical example. High accountability, sound judgement, and confidence in making decisions under pressure.
