Join a high-performing, collaborative Procurement team as a Procurement Business Partner – Technology, based in Surry Hills. Reporting to the General Manager of Procurement, you’ll lead strategic sourcing across key IT categories (software, infrastructure, services, SaaS), partnering with senior stakeholders to drive commercial value, optimise vendor performance, and support business outcomes in a fast-paced digital environment. This is a great opportunity to step into a visible, business-facing role where you’ll influence decision-making and work on complex, high-impact initiatives. Responsibilities Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business, from CTO and senior leaders to day-to-day vendor users, providing trusted procurement advice Own and deliver strategic sourcing across key IT categories, including software, infrastructure, services, and SaaS Lead end-to-end RFx processes, including complex and large-scale transformation programs Drive commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms while maintaining strong, long-term supplier relationships Proactively challenge the status quo, identifying opportunities to optimise value, reduce risk, and improve outcomes Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including contract renewals, supplier performance, and risk mitigation Who are you? 5 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management (ideally within IT or technology) Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels Proven experience leading complex negotiations and delivering measurable commercial outcomes Comfortable working in fast-paced, matrixed environments with competing priorities A clear, confident communicator who can translate technical and commercial concepts Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with a strong commercial mindset Why News Corp Australia Join a culture where innovation is our operating rhythm.
