As a Technical Specialist, you will support the Case Management teams by providing up-to-date technical guidance on the NSW CTP scheme. You will operate in a customer-centric environment focused on the proactive management of claims. This role is best suited to someone with demonstrated experience working within the MAIA scheme in a similar capacity. This will be a full time, permenant position based in our Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In conjunction with the Team Leader, identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures, while delivering a strong customer experience Identify, develop and support or implement new initiatives, quality improvements and continuous improvement activities across the team Review and identify potential fraudulent claims Review and sign off on contributory negligence decisions in line with NSW CTP legislation Provide technical coaching and one-on-one support to team members across liability decisions, earning capacity decisions and contributory negligence Review and respond to internal audits, emerging trends and claims management practices ABOUT YOU Strong technical experience within workers’ compensation claims or the NSW CTP scheme Proven experience coaching and mentoring case managers within the workers compensation or CTP space Demonstrated understanding and application of the NSW CTP scheme or NSW workers compensation legislation and associated regulations Previous experience as a case manager or within a technical specialist capacity WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
