Sydney Investment Banking Contract or Temporary This 6-7 month contract role for a Treasury Operations professional is an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic cash transfer and fund payments teams of our client, a global US investment bank. As a Treasury Operations specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s financial operations, with a focus on cash management, liquidity, and regulatory compliance. What you’ll be doing Executing daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity management, and foreign exchange transactions Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of treasury activities to stakeholders Participating in the implementation and maintenance of treasury systems and processes Supporting the preparation of regulatory reports and compliance activities Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address treasury-related challenges Providing guidance and support to junior members of the treasury team What we’re looking for Ideally 3-8 years of experience in a treasury operations role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry Strong understanding of treasury management principles, including cash flow, liquidity, and risk management Proficiency in the use of treasury management systems and data analysis tools Good communication, organizational teamwork, interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of local payments systems (ie. Austraclear), as well as SWIFT payment system preferred.
