About the Role We have an opportunity for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to support the delivery of risk, regulatory, compliance, and internal audit engagements for financial services clients, with a focus on control reviews, governance frameworks, and regulatory assurance. About the Opportunity Working as part of a collaborative team, this role delivers Internal Audit engagements and contribute to other assurance engagements alongside financial statement audit teams. Key Responsibilities Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls as part of internal audit and regulatory assurance engagements. Support internal audit reviews, regulatory audits, and compliance assessments. Perform control testing, compliance monitoring, and issue or breach assessments. Assist with the development and review of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Prepare clear workpapers, reports, and client deliverables. Engage with client stakeholders and contribute to practical risk and control insights. Support and guide junior team members as required. About You Our ideal candidate has around three years’ experience in internal audit, risk, regulatory, or compliance roles, preferably within financial services. Combined with: Demonstrated experience delivering internal audit engagements, including risk assessment and control testing. Strong knowledge of APRA and ASIC regulatory frameworks Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Professional qualifications (CA/CPA) desirable.
