About the Role A small group of restaurants seeking a dynamic, hands on Finance Manager to manage the full financial operations and management reporting of the business. As the group expands, the need for an in‑house professional with strong bookkeeping and financial management capability has become essential. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, fast‑moving environment, is comfortable working directly with owners, and can take full responsibility for the financial backbone of the group. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Management Reporting Improve, further develop, and expand management reporting pack for operating entities on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis Manage the day‑to‑day bookkeeping for the group Maintain and oversee the Xero file, ensuring accuracy and up to date records of multiple entities Complete daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare financial and management reports as required Payroll Process payroll for all staff (60) across the restaurant group Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation Manage superannuation, leave entitlements and related obligations Compliance & Reporting Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory requirements Support budgeting, cashflow tracking and financial planning Liaise with external accountants and advisors when required Skills & Experience Strong bookkeeping background with experience managing end‑to‑end accounts Proficiency in Xero and MYOB confidence managing full accounting files Solid understanding of payroll, BAS and compliance requirements Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with ownership Resilience and professional maturity — the role requires thick skin How to Apply To express your interest please email a copy of your updated resume to peter@tmsrecruitment.com We look forward to receiving your application
