Project Services & BAs Sydney Contract Government Relations 2/4/2026 $600-$700 p/d Senior Project Officer – SEED Program Location: Parramatta Employment Type: Contract until 31/7/2026 Pay: $600- $700 p/d super About the Role The Senior Project Officer supports the delivery of projects within the Sharing and Enabling Environmental Data (SEED) program. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing project activities, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. You will work across multiple projects, providing technical guidance, stakeholder coordination, and project management support in a fast-paced government environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, coordinate and deliver SEED program projects Provide end-to-end project support including planning, reporting, and documentation Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and financial information Support budgeting processes and financial tracking Coordinate stakeholders, working groups, and consultations Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making Provide secretariat support including meeting coordination and preparation of papers Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with government frameworks About You You are a proactive and organised project professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You thrive in complex environments and can manage competing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail. You will bring: Experience in project management, ideally within government or large organisations Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience preparing reports, briefs, and project documentation Financial acumen with experience in budgeting or reporting Strong problem-solving and analytical capability Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated experience in project management Experience working within government frameworks or similar environments Key Challenges Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and limited resources Building strong stakeholder relationships across diverse teams Ensuring timely and accurate project delivery in a complex environment
