We have a (6M Contract - EXT) Infrastructure Support Engineer role available. This role requires working 5 days per week oniste in the Sydney CBD. You will be supporting infrastructure technology on an exciting AI Integration Project in Financial Services. Your focus will cover Wintel, M365 and Fortinet Firewall Configuration & Troubleshooting . The Financial Services Customer is delivering an AI Integration Project. The AI Models are hitting SharePoint, Entra ID, and InTune. This will also involve Server Fleet Maintanance and SQL Server Backup. Responsibilities: Network Health Checks M365 Health Checks Working on BAU Support and Projects Supporting the dedicated Network Engineer Configure and Troubleshoot FortiGate Firewall Configure Routers and Policies on FortiGate Firewall Server Fleet Maintanance and SQL Server Backup Accept, manage, and resolve support incidents to conclusion Lead or assist with the design, implementation and support of Infrastructure and Cloud solutions Proactive monitoring and response to automated infrastructure monitoring and vendor incident alerts. Participate in rotating after-hours/weekend support, maintenance and monthly patching exercises as required. Attend training, networking or business development events as nominated by the Company. Please Note: This role requires an infrastructure all-rounder who has Fortinet exposure or experience to round out their core Wintel / M365 skills. Experience Required: Strong Wintel Server & Administration experience M365 Infrastructure Support Engineering Experience Strong Experience in SharePoint, Entra ID and InTune Experience in Configuring and Troubleshooting FortiGate Firewalls Experience in Configuring Routers and Policies on Fortinet Firewall including Policy Updates Server Fleet Maintanance and SQL Server Backup Experience Active Directory / Entra ID / Group Policies / Conditional Access Experience Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Desktop) Experience in M365 Modern Workplace support (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune etc) Infrastructure Monitoring Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
