About the Role We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support device repair operations and technical service delivery. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing mobile devices, and assisting customers with technical issues. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can manage multiple repair jobs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Location: Westfield Eastgardens, 152 Bunnerong Rd, Eastgardens NSW 2036 Salary: $76,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults in smartphones and related electronic devices Repair and replace hardware components including screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal parts Conduct testing to ensure devices are functioning correctly after repair Maintain accurate records of repairs and service activities Assist customers with technical queries and provide service updates Manage device intake, assessment, and job tracking Ensure timely completion of repair jobs Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow workplace procedures and safety requirements Support general store operations where required Skills & Experience Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in device repair or hardware servicing Strong understanding of mobile phone components and repair techniques Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a customer-facing retail environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
