About the Role We are seeking a confident, capable, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our Level 1 pharmacy located in Westfield Eastgardens. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services while maintaining accuracy in dispensing and providing professional advice to patients. Key Responsibilities · Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards · Provide clear and appropriate counselling to patients on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects · Deliver professional pharmacy services including MedsChecks, vaccinations, and health consultations · Conduct extended scope services such as UTI and Oral Contraceptive consultations · Prepare, pack, and check Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) · Manage and maintain dispensary stock, including ordering S3, S4, and S8 medications · Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, guidelines, and professional standards · Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times · Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals · Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities Skills and Experience Required · General Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA · Bachelor of Pharmacy or higher qualification · Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in dispensing · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Sound knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and clinical guidelines · Experience with dispensing systems such as Fred Dispense Plus and POSWorks · Minimum 1 year experience in a community pharmacy setting (preferred) Work Schedule · Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM · Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Flexibility in working hours and days is required Benefits · Competitive salary package with superannuation · Employee discounts · Ongoing professional development and training opportunities · Supportive and collaborative team environment
