About the Role You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of high-speed food production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on minimising downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs to reduce downtime Work on conveyors, mixers, fillers, wrappers, and automated production lines Support equipment installation, upgrades, and improvement projects Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards Accurately complete maintenance logs and documentation What's required Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent) Experience in food, FMCG, or fast-paced manufacturing environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently on afternoon shift Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail What’s on Offer Permanent afternoon shift role $60.73 per hour (inclusive of shift loading) Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable manufacturer Strong team environment with well-maintained equipment
