This role can be based out of Sydney (Mascot) or Melbourne (Collingwood) The Strategy Partner supports the development, coordination and delivery of Bank Australia’s corporate strategy, including the Strategic Plan, Business Plan and associated strategy roadmaps. Working closely with the Manager's Strategy, Planning and Implementation, the role helps maintain the integrity, alignment and momentum of the organisation’s strategic direction. The Strategy Partner partners with divisional leaders to develop, review and implement aligned sub‑strategies, provides analysis of industry, financial and competitor data to inform commercial decision‑making, and applies business analytics and management consulting disciplines to resolve complex cross‑functional strategic issues. The role also supports the delivery of strategic initiatives, including merger and acquisition activity where required, and builds strong relationships across the organisation to drive engagement and successful strategy execution. What you will be doing Support the development, coordination and execution of Bank Australia’s corporate strategy, including the Strategic Plan, Business Plan and strategy roadmaps. Assist in delivering the annual strategic planning cycle, executive strategy updates and the Board’s annual strategic planning session. Monitor and report on progress against corporate, divisional and departmental plans, including OKRs and KPIs. Partner with senior and divisional leaders to develop, review and implement aligned sub‑strategies and annual plans. Deliver and facilitate strategic planning workshops, applying structured frameworks to solve cross‑functional business challenges. Provide strategic insights through analysis of industry, competitor, financial and ecosystem trends, highlighting risks, threats and opportunities. Support external strategy reporting and presentations for stakeholders such as rating agencies and funding partners. Contribute to merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence coordination, business case development and integration planning when required. Demonstrated experience (3–5 years) supporting corporate strategy development, implementation, monitoring and review, ideally within financial services or customer‑owned enterprises. Relevant graduate qualifications, strong numerical capability and a developing ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across complex stakeholder environments.
