About the Position: The Roof Plumber plays a vital role at TEZ Services Group Pty Ltd by expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and drainage systems to protect buildings from the elements. This hands-on position involves working with various sheet metal materials and roofing components to deliver durable and compliant solutions. The role is critical in upholding the company’s reputation for quality workmanship and ensuring all projects are completed safely and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Installing and repairing roof drainage systems including gutters, downpipes, flashings, and rainwater goods Measuring, cutting, bending, and fixing sheet metal materials such as Colorbond, zinc, and aluminium Installing roof coverings including metal roofing sheets, wall cladding, and associated components Ensuring all roofing work complies with Australian standards, building codes, and safety regulations Identifying roof leaks, blockages, and defects, and carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance Installing roof penetrations, vents, skylights, and waterproofing systems Working at heights using appropriate safety equipment such as harnesses and scaffolding Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications Coordinating with builders, site supervisors, and other trades on construction projects Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on roofing systems Ensuring proper sealing and insulation to prevent water ingress and structural damage Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment Requirements : Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
