Due to business expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Baker to join our team. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing, baking and finishing a wide range of artisan breads, sourdough products, laminated pastries and specialty baked goods Managing and maintaining natural sourdough starters and overseeing long fermentation processes Developing and refining new recipes in line with seasonal ingredients and business objectives Monitoring dough quality, proofing times, oven temperatures and baking schedules to ensure product consistency Supervising junior bakers and bakery assistants, providing training and guidance where required Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards Managing daily production schedules to meet retail and wholesale demand Monitoring stock levels of raw materials and coordinating ordering to maintain adequate supply Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace Skills and Requirements: · Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a commercial bakery environment, preferably in artisan or sourdough production · Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, lamination techniques and baking science · Experience working with high-volume production while maintaining premium quality standards · Extensive experience in leading and mentoring junior staff · Strong organisational and time-management skills · Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required · A genuine passion for artisan baking and product innovation · Mandarin-speaking is an advantageous
