A growing and well-established specialist lending business is seeking a Commercial Client Liaison to join its high-performing team in Brisbane. This is a relationship-led role sitting at the centre of the client journey, where you will manage deals end-to-end while working closely with consultants, clients, and external stakeholders. It offers a strong blend of client engagement, pipeline ownership, and exposure to commercial lending and credit processes. Sitting between the major banks and boutique lenders, they offer a more flexible and client-focused approach to lending, with a strong emphasis on long-term relationships rather than transactional outcomes. You’ll work closely with Consultants to progress deals through the pipeline, acting as a key point of contact for clients and ensuring a smooth and well-managed process from application through to settlement. Responsibilities include: Managing client communication throughout the lending journey Coordinating deals from application through to settlement Supporting the preparation of credit submissions and gathering financial information Liaising with stakeholders including clients, accountants, solicitors and valuers Managing timelines, documentation and outstanding requirements Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline updates What they’re looking for This role suits someone with experience across lending support, business banking or asset/commercial finance who is looking to step into a more end-to-end, client-facing position. You’ll likely bring: Experience in lending, banking or finance (commercial, SME or asset finance preferred) Exposure to loan processes, documentation or settlements Strong stakeholder and client communication skills Ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities A proactive, solutions-focused mindset You don’t need to have deep commercial lending experience, but you should have a solid understanding of lending processes and be keen to build further capability in this space.
