Discover more via our website. Your next career opportunity In this role, you will lead Ngarrngga’s curriculum and pedagogy work to support educators across Australia. You will guide a team developing high-quality, culturally responsive resources that showcase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges. You will also shape strategy, partnerships and research that extend Ngarrngga’s impact into early childhood and higher education. What you will deliver: Lead and manage a curriculum writing team, setting workflows, monitoring progress and ensuring clear, timely reporting. Design and refine teacher-ready curriculum resources, guides and learning experiences aligned with Ngarrngga’s methodology and curriculum frameworks. Build and maintain partnerships with Indigenous Knowledge holders, educators and academics to inform respectful, practice-based learning materials. Lead quality assurance, trials and continuous improvement cycles to ensure curriculum and assessment resources remain relevant and impactful. Develop approaches and research projects for showcasing Indigenous Knowledges, including databases, partnerships and sector expansion scoping. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a relevant PhD or equivalent research experience, plus teaching qualification and proven school teaching or leadership experience. Demonstrate experience designing and implementing curriculum programs and resources for teachers, aligned with curriculum or early childhood frameworks. Lead small teams and complex education projects, managing workflows, timelines and stakeholder expectations in multi-disciplinary environments. Apply advanced knowledge of learning design, culturally responsive pedagogy and assessment to create high-quality, practice-based learning materials. Engage confidently and respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, Knowledge holders, educators and education sector partners. Adapt quickly between research, curriculum development and project management tasks, maintaining focus, collaboration and delivery under changing priorities.
