You’ll act as a Cyber Business Partner, embedded within a key business unit, working hands-on with engineers and stakeholders to identify, assess, and fix real security issues, while also translating risk into clear business outcomes. What You’ll Be Doing Partner directly with a business unit as their go-to cyber security advisor Work hands-on with engineers to identify and remediate security risks Analyse security tooling and translate findings into actionable insights Support and uplift ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives Drive risk management and remediation activities across the business Prepare teams for audits (rather than lead audits) Present security risks and progress to senior stakeholders Act as the bridge between security teams and the wider business What We’re Looking For Core Experience Experience in cyber security / information security (approx. 2–5 years) Hands-on experience: Working with security tools or technical environments Identifying and helping remediate security issues Experience working closely with engineering or technical teams Strong understanding of risk, controls, and security best practice Key Traits Strong communicator, able to engage both engineers and senior stakeholders Collaborative mindset Practical and solutions-focused Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Nice to Have Exposure to AWS or cloud environments Experience with frameworks such as: ISO 27001 SOC 2 Background in: Infrastructure, engineering, or IT (highly regarded) Financial services experience (helpful but not essential) Why Join High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders Opportunity to own and influence security outcomes within a business unit Strong support and development from a global cyber team Work across modern technology environments and global teams Clear pathway to grow into a senior security business partner Interested?
