Contract Administrator North Sydney, NSW $140,000 - $160,000 & Super Core Talent are proud to be partnerhing with a national civil contractor to recruit for an experienced Contracts Administrator, to support the delivery of utilities and civil infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from a commercial and contractual perspective, ensuring projects are compliant, well-controlled, and financially successful. Key Responsibilities: Contract Administration Administer head contracts and subcontracts (GC21, AS4000, AS2124, NEC4 or similar) Manage variations, EOTs, claims, and contractual correspondence Ensure compliance with contract terms and client requirements Prepare and negotiate subcontract and supplier agreements Maintain contract registers and project documentation Commercial Management Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting Assess subcontractor claims and prepare head contract claims Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Manage final accounts and project close-out Assist in maintaining strong project cashflow Procurement Prepare subcontract scopes aligned with project requirements Manage tender processes, evaluations, and negotiations Recommend subcontractor awards in line with budgets Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships Documentation & Reporting Maintain RFIs, variation logs, and document control systems Prepare monthly reports and commercial updates Ensure access to current project documentation Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities Manage commercial communications including variations and claims Ensure alignment with contractual frameworks Leadership & Support Provide commercial guidance to project teams Support and mentor junior team members Contribute to improving commercial systems and processes About You: 5 years’ experience in contract administration within civil construction Experience across civil, utilities, or transport infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of GC21, AS4000, AS2124, NEC4 contracts Proven ability managing large-scale projects Strong financial and negotiation skills High attention to detail and contractual understanding Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar (preferred) Please apply to be shortlisted for consideration or email your resume to Megan Thomas at Core Talent for more information - megan.thomas@coretalent.com.au
