Finance Business Analyst | Not-for-Profit Location: Brisbane North Work Arrangement: Full-time, 3 days in office per week The Opportunity This is a newly created position within a large community services organisation. You will provide financial analysis and commercial support to ensure the integrity of the division's financial performance. The role suits an analyst comfortable navigating complex operational data and contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and system utilisation. Your Impact Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reporting, including supporting schedules, workpapers, and commentary. Manage journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Cashflow Management: Support the preparation of weekly and monthly rolling cashflow reports. Monitor cash movements and forecast assumptions to identify liquidity trends or risks. Financial Modelling: Maintain and develop models for scenario analysis, cost modelling, and multi-year planning. Budgets & Forecasting: Assist in building annual budgets and periodic forecast updates. Data & Systems: Develop dashboards and automated reports. Maintain data integrity within the ERP system. About You Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting support, or management reporting. Experience working with complex operational data and be looking to progress beyond a graduate level. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and experience with an ERP. Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial data to support decision-making and identify operational risks and opportunities. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CA or CPA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
