This is a Maintenance Officer role with Bolton Clarke based in QLD, AU Bolton Clarke Role Seniority - mid level More about the Maintenance Officer role at Bolton Clarke About The Opportunity Based at Fernhill Residential Aged Care home in Caboolture Full Time Permanent, 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:06pm As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe environment for residents. Your ability to foster strong relationship with residents, contractors and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be. Key duties: Hands-on repairs and maintenance General maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves Monitor stock levels of consumables and re-order where required Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner Participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service To be successful, you will have Experience in maintenance duties, preferably in an aged care environment Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience Current valid drivers' licence Evidence of Australian work rights Current national police check (or willing to obtain) Flu Vaccination (Recommended) A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role Availability to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service Our benefits Our culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
