Proserpine Machinery Service has fully equipped and modern workshop and are able to service all ranges of equipment from the latest technologically advanced equipment to service any make or model of vehicles or farm equipment. Due to recent growth and expansion Proserpine Machinery Service is looking for hardworking and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join their team. Duties and responsibilities will include: Conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and testing on Agriculture vehicles, machinery and equipment. Hydraulic Repairs Engine Removal, Replacements and Rebuilds Engine and Hydraulic Fault, DC Electrical Fault Finding and Diagnostics Replace spark plugs, pollen filters, brake fluid, coolants, hydraulic fluids, transmission oils, diff and possibly belts as specified by manufacturers guidelines. Auto Lubrication Servicing and Installations Ensuring all service records are up to date Fit, install and maintain mechanical plant and equipment where necessary. All other duties as required by management. Skills & Experience: Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade Certificate At least 2 years of relevant experience Diagnostic experience Ability to work as a team player and work unsupervised to complete task.
