This opportunity would suit those seeking employment on a full-time permanent basis. This is a Monday to Friday position, with the possibility of working on a Sunday. As a Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant you will adopt a holistic approach to develop, implement, and evaluate ‘best practice’ programs designed specifically for our Residents. Essential Criteria: Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or working towards Creativity with ability and knowledge of and understanding of effective engagement for groups and individuals Residential aged care experience and experience working with people living with dementia Demonstrated knowledge and skills in documentation Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs for groups and individual therapy Excellent organisation and time management skills Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in the delivery and effective implementation of leisure programs Creative and cognitive based skills to run effective and stimulating groups Life skills will be highly regarded About us: Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 135-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
