About the Job Opportunity This is a hands-on Heavy Diesel Mechanic role based in a fully equipped workshop, supporting a mixed fleet of class 2-4 trucks, utes, generators, and scaffolding related equipment. You’ll handle servicing, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs while managing your own workflow with minimal supervision. The role suits a self-motivated mechanic who enjoys autonomy, works well with others, and takes pride in keeping plant and equipment safe, reliable, and ready for use. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair a mixed fleet of Class 2-4 trucks, utes, and generators. Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance. Manage your own workflow and job priorities. Coordinate with Yard Supervisors to plan and complete work efficiently. Benefits Competitive pay: $43-$44 per hour.
