Seeking an experienced Senior Architect to contribute to a variety of ongoing and upcoming projects. Qualifications Required: Qualifications: Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Registration: Must be registered with the Architect’s Accreditation Council of Australia or a mutually recognised equivalent international governing body. 20 Years of experience in Architectural design, with a focus on project management, team management and site experience. Key Responsibilities: Work on large scale projects and provide senior delivery expertise Contribute to project planning alongside management Support the design development of efficient layouts, construction methods and select materials based on sustainability, durability, cost, performance, and cultural impact Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices, while staying informed on industry trends and technologies. Drive design quality and oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and safety planning Ensure high-quality documentation to support project milestones and clearly communicate design intent Coordinate with consultants and update documentation throughout the design and construction process Support construction phase services including site visits, report writing, RFI responses, and shop drawing reviews Assist in managing scope, budgets, programs, and resourcing, including preparation of payment claims and reports Lead internal coordination, communication, and document control across all project stages Mentor team members, support professional development, and contribute to a positive and efficient studio culture Required Skills & Experience: 20 years experience incl substantial site stage experience, gained on large-scale mixed-use and residential developments Strong understanding of construction principles, codes, and the Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA) Skilled in managing project timelines, budgets, fees, invoicing, and cash flow across multiple concurrent projects Ideally skilled in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud & Aconex, for document/model management and BIM execution and digital delivery planning Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to lead and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. This includes ability to work with Tier 1 and 2 Builders and identify scope variations where appropriate Excellent time management and ability to handle competing priorities.
